NewRoot Student Day of Action

Student Day of Action is an event connecting NewRoot (Kenilworth Union Church Outreach Agency) high school students with business professionals and high school alumni.

By participating in Student Day of Action, students will gain valuable interview skills and will have a rare opportunity to work with professionals from the community in one-on-one and workshop settings. Students will explore potential career paths, ask important questions about college, and connect with people who have great advice for future planning.

On Wednesday, March 22, NewRoot and Sullivan High School, located in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago, are hosting a Student Day of Action! Please contact Kristin Merk to be part of NewRoot’s Student Day of Action.

This short Senior Day of Action at Sullivan High School video from 2017 will give you a glimpse of students and partners in action!
